CMB employees set off on a gruelling cycle ride for charity
A fantastic group of 13 employees from CMB have completed a Coast to Coast bike ride for charity, 140 miles in 3 days, from Whitehaven to Sunderland.
The iconic route travels 140 miles between the Irish Sea and the North Sea, from Cumbria to Tyneside, passing through the northern Lake District before climbing the Pennines and descending to the railway paths of County Durham.
This was all done to support two charities close to their hearts who desperately needed help, the MND Association and the Leeds Children’s Charity.
They have managed to raise just over £5000 so far, thanks to donations from suppliers, the cyclists themselves and friends/family.
