For another year running the CMbE Charity Committee & staff have kindly donated toys to help The Rotary Club of Shipley in their annual Toy Collection for local disadvantaged children at Christmas.
CMbE are proud supporters of the local Rotary Club’s annual Christmas Toy Appeal.
This initiative, run by the The Rotary Club of Shipley relies on donations from local businesses and residents to provide children from more deprived backgrounds with a Christmas present.
With new figures recently released show 3.6 million children are still living in poverty in the UK, this is only set to worsen during the current cost of living crisis. This year our employees have been incredibly generous with a record number of gifts donated over the last few weeks. We know that money can be tight at this time of year, but it’s reassuring to know that colleagues are more than willing to spare a thought for a worthwhile cause.
Thank you to everyone at CMB who donated and helped to make this years collection the biggest one yet!
All the toys that have been bought and donated by everyone will really help to make a huge difference to lots of families this Christmas.
