Celebrating the success of its people

CMB Engineering attends the IMechE Yorkshire Regional Dinner

On Friday 15th September 2023, ten representatives and their partners from CarnaudMetalbox Engineering celebrated the success of five newly professionally registered Mechanical Engineers at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers Yorkshire regional dinner in Sheffield. This is an achievement they and the company are very proud of, and it demonstrates their level of competence and commitment to the Engineering profession.

The IMechE is a professional Engineering association with over 115,000 members in 140 countries. The association celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2022, with the Yorkshire region being the oldest. “The institution truly believes it can improve the world through Engineering, by finding and nurturing new talent, helping Engineers build and develop their career and by taking in challenges that, when solved, will make a difference to us all”.

This event was held at the historic and stunning Cutlers Hall, and it was attended by over 260 guests, the largest attendance for this event ever. There were representatives from eleven other Engineering companies and Universities, along with the IMechE President and Yorkshire Regional Chair.
