Metpack 2017 was a fantastic success for CMB Engineering.
CarnaudMetalbox Engineering have been involved with Metpack since the very beginnings of the show. This was highlighted recently with the presentation of an award to Andrew Truelove GM for continuous involvement at the show for the past 25years.
Andrew comments ‘It was a surprise and an honour to be recognised by Metpack for our contribution over 25 years of the show. This show is the priority in CMB’s trade show calendar and the 2017 show was the most productive for CMB in the 25 years of attendance.’ The booth on stand 3D55 proved enormously successful and attracted many hundreds of visitors over the length of the show. Taking centre stage for CMB was the long anticipated reformatTM Decorator, a real show stopper that proved very popular for a variety of different reasons. The new decorator offers many benefits including improved access to all eight inkers, integrated wash-up system, rear mounted servo motors. Feedback to our stand, the products we were promoting etc… were very positive, customers and potential buyers had many questions and comments that were eagerly answered by our sales team.
Best of METPACK 2017. The world’s leading fair for metal packaging.
The reformatTM decorator is based on the principals of the reformatTM brand which are less tools required for changeovers, easy access, common fittings, light weighted parts, sustainable and efficient operation, smart tablet control, remote monitoring, energy efficient and quick release points.
In addition to the new decorator was the introduction of our concept machine the reformatTM Bodymaker this was a welcomed addition to the show and proved to be very popular. The Bodymaker showed the latest developments in offline toolpack setup and ram alignment technology. Metpack 2017 was finished with a Networking evening on the 4th May alongside our partners for the evening Roeslein, Intralox, UTC Overseas and Greenbank Technology. The great and good from the canmaking world attended from across the globe and all enjoyed their time at The Casino Zollverein in Essen.
