The last few months have been a busy time of year for us here at CMB Engineering, where the team have visited Euro CanTech, GulfCan, and most recently Cannex 2018, in Guangzhou, China.
Cannex was attended by CMB to present our latest developments on the reformatTM brand developments including the fantastic developments in the offline toolpack setting and ram alignment monitoring. The show was also the perfect platform to soft launch the A-Drive Bodymaker concept.
At the show, a portion of the stand was given up to Straight Line Drive to promote its SDrive concept, a retrofit drive system for bodymakers including Ragsdale and Standun machines. Many thanks to those of you we saw at Cannex, and we hope you had a great week – we most certainly did!
Aside from Cannex, the first half of the year has been a busy period for CMB with the company exhibiting at GulfCan and Euro CanTech trade shows, and attending Anuga FoodTec, the leading global trade fair for the food and beverage industry.
At both GulfCan and Euro CanTech, our sales manager Marc Hoche presented on new ways of delivering information. Within his presentation, Marc illustrated how our machine manuals are downloadable onto a tablet or an iPhone and with the addition of Cortona our 3D delivery platform to view finite detail of our machines. These manuals are unique to each customer and are automatically updated. The best part of the manual is the fact that it’s free!
At Euro CanTech our general manager Andrew Truelove appeared as an expert on a roundtable discussion on the latest industry topics, which included how the industry can tackle the threat of plastic packaging, steel tariffs and the current state of the metal packaging industry in Europe.
