CMB Partner with Straight Line Drive to create bodymaker of the future
CMB Engineering recently introduced the reformat brand to the product portfolio based on the premise of Reconfigurable, Modular, Canmaking Equipment. The introduction of the brand that promises quicker changes, ease of use and reduction in cost of ownership was displayed with great success at last year’s Metpack exhibition in Germany to a very welcoming audience. Interest in the product range for not only the Bodymaker but for other products in the portfolio has been strong to say the least.
For those looking for a step change in can production, design concepts at CMB Engineering have taken a dramatic leap forward which could revolutionise the industry.
CMB Engineering’s highly skilled engineers have enjoyed pushing boundaries with their product portfolio, and this change is no different. Partnering with Straight Line Drive (who have recently introduced to the market the S-Drive, a retrofit system that can be installed on many Bodymakers) and utilizing the experience of Don Haulsee (patent holder and inventor of the Hypocycloid transmission technology) and in particular his vision for canmaking in the future, CMB combines his patent drive system with the reformat brand paving the way for a true step change for can makers globally. This new system can be seen on the CarnaudMetalbox stand at Cannex (Hall 11.1, stand 433), Lee Vanatta (COO) & Don Haulsee (CEO) will both be present on the stand, as will the team from CMB Engineering. We are looking forward to introducing this revolutionary drive and welcoming you to the Bodymaker of the future.
